Job summary

You will serve customers, stock shelves, process payments, maintain the store’s appearance and help ensure safety and compliance. If the store has a Post Office Local, duties may include post office operations following necessary background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers at the tills and on the shop floor.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed and correctly priced.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash/concise transactions.
• Keep the store clean, safe and well-organised for customers and colleagues.
• Assist with replenishment, returns and stock checks as required.
• Contribute to a friendly and welcoming shopping environment.
• Follow security procedures and age-restricted product policies where applicable.
• Support in-store events and promotions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with Post Office Local operations if applicable and pass necessary background checks.
