Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Store Colleague to help deliver outstanding customer experiences on the shop floor. You will greet customers, maintain presentation standards, replenish stock, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work with colleagues to meet sales objectives, learn new skills, and contribute to the store's high standards of service and presentation. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to adapt tone and communication style to different customers.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and follow store processes.
• Strong organisational skills to manage tasks on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.
