Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team in Basingstoke. You will help customers, stock shelves, process payments and keep the store looking welcoming and safe.

You’ll contribute to great service by listening to customers and acting on feedback, while working across tills, replenishment and store operations. In this role you’ll follow policies, clock in/out accurately, and support the Store Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with enquiries and provide helpful information
• Stock shelves and maintain product availability
• Process payments at the till and handle refunds where appropriate
• Keep the store clean, organized and safe for customers and colleagues
• Assist with store operations across tills, replenishment and post office checks (if applicable)
• Follow policies and procedures, including cash handling and health & safety rules
• Support the Store Manager and team during busy periods and holidays
• Attend training and participate in local community or charity events as needed
