Job Title: Part-Time In Store Cleaner at Sainsbury's Whitstable

Join Arcus as a vital part of our team! We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Whitstable store on a permanent basis. This role offers 20 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available.

Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day schedules, with shifts such as early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern is:

• Sunday: 08:00 to 12:30
• Monday: 06:00 to 09:00
• Tuesday: 06:00 to 09:00
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: 06:00 to 09:00
• Friday: 06:00 to 09:00
• Saturday: 14:30 to 18:00

There are opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness within our stores. Tasks include:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outdoor areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Applying health and safety procedures

Training and Requirements

Full training will be provided. Prior cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential. Key qualities include:

• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• Provision of a smartphone with NFC capability for our Arcus Connect App, which is a condition of employment
