Job Title: In-store Cleaner

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Hempstead Valley store on a permanent basis. This role involves working 23 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day workweeks, with shifts in the early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 16:00 - 20:00
• Monday: 16:00 - 20:00
• Tuesday: 16:30 - 20:00
• Thursday: Day off
• Friday: 16:30 - 20:30
• Saturday: 16:00 - 20:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining cleanliness and safety in Sainsbury's supermarkets. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Outside work such as keeping trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

Training and Requirements

Full training will be provided. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential. You should have an eye for detail, a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance, which is a condition of employment.
