Job Title: In-store Cleaner

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company. We are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's East Mayne store on a permanent basis. The role offers 25 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores operate 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6 day options, with shifts in the early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day Off
• Monday: Day Off
• Tuesday: 17:30-22:30
• Thursday: 17:30-22:30
• Friday: 17:30-22:30
• Saturday: 16:00-21:00

You will have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining clean and safe environments in Sainsbury's supermarkets. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as required
• Maintaining outside areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

Full training will be provided to support you in your role.

Requirements

While previous cleaning experience is beneficial, it is not essential as on-the-job training will be provided. You should have an eye for detail and cleanliness, and a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service.

Additional Information

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App, which is used for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
