At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's South Woodham Ferrers store on a permanent basis. This role offers 27 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.48.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working options. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 06:00 - 10:30
• Monday: Day Off
• Tuesday: Day Off
• Wednesday: 13:30 - 19:00
• Thursday: 13:30 - 19:00
• Friday: 13:30 - 19:00
• Saturday: 12:30 - 19:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus Cleaners takes pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outside trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

Full training will be provided to support you in your role.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided.

Attention to detail and cleanliness, a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service are important.

Please note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App, which is used for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
