Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner at Sainsbury's Darlington store. The role is 22 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.71, with immediate start available.

Sainsbury’s stores open seven days a week and Arcus offers varied shifts, including early morning, morning, afternoon and evening, with weekend work. Responsibilities include cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sanitising, plus checking health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operating cleaning machinery.
• Carrying out daily cleaning tasks (mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping) to keep stores clean and safe.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as needed.
• Working outside to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves/debris.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are applied.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Darlington store on a permanent basis. 22 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 06:00 to 09:00

Monday: 05:00 to 09:00

Tuesday: 05:00 to 09:00

Wednesday: 05:00 to 09:00

Thursday: Day off

Friday: 05:00 to 09:00

Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training
