Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's in Sedgefield. This role is 18 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.71, with an immediate start and a pattern of shifts including early mornings, mornings, afternoons and evenings across seven days.

You will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standards inside the store, including operating machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping, plus possible cleaning toilets, ceilings and

• Cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training provided.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and carry out daily cleaning tasks in-store.
• Mop, vacuum, wipe surfaces, and sweep to keep the store hygienic.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, and windows as required.
• Keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Sedgefield store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: Day off

Monday: Day off

Tuesday: 10:00 to 13:00

Wednesday: 10:00 to 14:00

Thursday: 10:00 to 14:00

Friday: 10:00 to 14:00

Saturday: 10:00 to 13:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
