Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury's West Hovestore on a permanent basis. This role is 24 hours per week at £12.71 per hour with immediate start.

Sainsbury's stores are open seven days a week; the role offers early morning to evening shifts with occasional overtime. You will perform daily cleaning tasks to keep the store clean and safe for customers, following health and safety procedures.

Arcus will provide full training and support.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Smartphone with NFC capability to access Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery.
• Carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to maintain cleanliness.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies.
• Keep trolley bays clean outside; remove leaves and debris.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks to the highest standards.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's West Hovestore on a permanent basis. 24 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is

Sunday: 05:00 - 09:00

Monday: Day off

Tuesday: 05:00 - 09:00

Wednesday: 05:00 - 09:00

Thursday: 05:00 - 09:00

Friday: 05:00 - 09:00

Saturday: 05:00 - 09:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
