Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a part-time in-store cleaner for Sainsbury's in Denton. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe store environment with regular cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming and surface cleaning.

Immediate start is available and shifts cover early morning to evening, 7 days a week. You will be part of a team delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service, with potential overtime to increase hours.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Smartphone with NFC capability required to access Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and ovens canopy as needed.
• Tidy trolley bays outside and remove leaves/debris when required.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Dentonstore on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is

Sunday: Day off

Monday: Day off

Tuesday: 14:30-17:30

Wednesday: 14:30-17:30

Thursday: 14:30-17:30

Friday: 14:30-17:30

Saturday: 10:30 - 17:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery


• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.


• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies


• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris


• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

An eye for detail and cleanliness

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
