Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a part-time In Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Halifax store. The role offers 18 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.71, with immediate start and various shift patterns across the week.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness to high standards, with duties including vacuuming, mopping and cleaning fixtures, while following health and safety procedures. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is beneficial but not essential.
• A keen eye for cleanliness and detail.
• Able to work as part of a team and follow instruction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks in store to maintain high standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools as required.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows and other areas as needed.
• Keep trolley bays and surrounding areas free of debris and hazards.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Halifax store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 07:00 to 10:00

Monday: 05:00 to 08:00

Tuesday: Day off

Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00

Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00

Friday: 05:00 to 08:00

Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Ta`ks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

An eye for detail and cleanliness

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
