Job summary

Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Alsager store on a permanent basis. The role offers 15.5 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12, with immediate start possible. Shifts include Sundays and weekdays with options for overtime to increase hours.

Arcus cleaners maintain high cleaning standards across the store, support safety procedures, and participate in full training. Smartphone NFC access is required for time and attendance recording.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail and cleanliness emphasized.
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but on-the-job training is provided.
• Must provide an NFC-enabled smartphone to access Arcus Connect App.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and perform daily cleaning tasks.
• Carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies as required.
• Occasionally clean trolley bays outside and assist with general upkeep.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Alsager store on a permanent basis.

15.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.

• Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available.

Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work.

The current shift pattern for this role is Sunday: 05:30 - 08:00 Monday: Day Off Tuesday: 05:30 - 08:00 Wednesday: 05:30 - 08:00 Thursday: 05:30 - 08:00 Friday: 05:30 - 08:00 Saturday: 05:30 - 08:30 You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers.

Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores.

Tasks will consist of but are not limited to: Operating machinery Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.

At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied Arcus will support you through full training What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied An eye for detail and cleanliness A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance.
