Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a part-time In Store Cleaner at Sainsbury's Clitheroe. The role offers 14.5 hours per week with a rate of £12.71 per hour, with an immediate start option. Work patterns cover mornings, evenings, and weekends, with potential overtime to increase hours.

Full training will be provided, and you will work to maintain high cleaning standards across the store. Smartphone NFC access is required for time/attendance via Arcus Connect App.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• A smartphone with NFC access for Arcus Connect App is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery and perform daily cleaning tasks to keep store clean.
• Carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping; keep toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows clean.
• May work outside to keep trolley bays free of leaves and debris and ensure safety procedures.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times; Arcus provides full training.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Clitheroe store on a permanent basis. 14.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 07:00 to 10:00

Monday: 06:00 to 08:30

Tuesday: Day off

Wednesday: Day off

Thursday: 06:00 to 09:00

Friday: 06:00 to 09:00

Saturday: 06:00 to 09:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
