Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is hiring a part-time In Store Cleaner at Sainsbury's Bishopton Dargavel store on a permanent basis. The role covers 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71, with early morning to evening shifts and weekend work.

Immediate start available and overtime opportunities may arise. You’ll perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain high standards, including mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces and toilet areas, while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning activities to maintain store cleanliness to a high standard.
• Carry out mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping tasks daily.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and other areas as required.
• Assist with keeping trolley bays clean and outdoor areas tidy; follow health and safety procedures.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Bishopton Dargavel store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 14:00 to 18:00

Monday: 15:00 to 18:00

Tuesday: 15:00 to 18:00

Wednesday: 14:00 to 18:00

Thursday: 14:00 to 18:00

Friday: Day off

Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
