Do you enjoy working in a customer-focused environment to ensure cleanliness? Do you love working as part of a team to produce sparkling results for customers?

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Chafford Hundred store on a permanent basis. The position offers 26 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working options. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day Off
• Monday: 12:00 - 17:00
• Tuesday: 12:00 - 17:00
• Wednesday: 12:00 - 17:00
• Thursday: 12:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 12:00 - 18:00
• Saturday: Day Off

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus Cleaners takes pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating machinery
• Carrying out thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outdoor areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

We will support you with full training.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided. You should have an eye for detail and cleanliness, and a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service.

Please note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
