Job Title: In-store Cleaner

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's West Hove store on a permanent basis. The role offers 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6 day working options. Shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day off
• Monday: 05:00 - 09:00
• Tuesday: 05:00 - 09:00
• Thursday: 05:00 - 09:00
• Friday: 05:00 - 09:00
• Saturday: 05:00 - 09:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining cleanliness and safety in Sainsbury's supermarkets. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Cleaning outside areas like trolley bays, removing leaves and debris
• Applying health and safety procedures diligently

Full training will be provided by Arcus.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be given. You should have:

• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• To provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance, which is a condition of employment
