Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner to join the Sainsbury's Bishop Auckland store. 14 hours per week, paid at £12.71 per hour, with an immediate start.

You will be part of a team dedicated to keeping the store clean, safe and welcoming for customers, with flexible shift patterns including early mornings, evenings and weekend work. Duties include operating cleaning equipment, mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces and restrooms, tidying trolley bays, and following health and safety

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operating cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Mop, vacuum, wipe and sweep to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or canopies as needed.
• Clean trolley bays and outdoor areas; remove leaves and debris.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Bishop Auckland store on a permanent basis. 14 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Sunday: 17:00 to 19:30

Monday: 19:00 to 21:00

Tuesday: 19:00 to 21:00

Wednesday: 19:00 to 21:30

Thursday: 19:00 to 21:30

Friday: Day off

Saturday: 19:00 to 21:30

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies
• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

An eye for detail and cleanliness

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
