At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's East Maynestore on a permanent basis. The role offers 25 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week. Here at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day working options. Shifts typically include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: Day Off
• Monday: Day Off
• Tuesday: 17:30-22:30
• Wednesday: 17:30-22:30
• Thursday: 17:30-22:30
• Friday: 17:30-22:30
• Saturday: 16:00-21:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment in Sainsbury’s supermarkets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operating cleaning machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining outside areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Full training will be provided by Arcus.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service.

Please note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App, which is used for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
