Job summary

Primark Bristol is seeking a Retail Assistant for a fixed-term contract until December 30, 2026. The role offers 8–12 hours per week with varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekend nights. You’ll help customers, maintain shop presentation, and handle tills and returns.

We value passion for fashion, strong communication, and teamwork. You must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK. Salary is competitive with a generous employee discount and holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly customer service.
• Ability to assist customers with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
• Maintain a tidy, visually appealing shop floor with pricing and stock accuracy.
• Operate till points, process queries and returns accurately.
• Receive, unpack and check deliveries for shelving and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Keep shop floor presentable, restock shelves, and tidy fitting rooms.
• Deliver fast, friendly service at tills and handle queries/voids/returns.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Contracted hours: 8-12 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings, nights on weekends only – all will be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
