Job summary

Fred Perry is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join their team at Liverpool ONE. You will support the Store Manager, lead the team and deliver excellent customer experiences while driving sales and maintaining high standards across the store.

In this role you will oversee daily operations, coach staff, manage stock and cash, and ensure health, safety and visual merchandising standards are upheld. Weekend and bank holiday flexibility is often required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory or assistant management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy retail environment.
• Confidence using EPOS systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office or similar.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Leading and motivating the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Managing stock, cash handling and visual merchandising standards.
• Coaching and developing team members through regular feedback and training.
• Supporting staff rotas and ensuring adequate cover during busy periods.
• Maintaining health, safety and security procedures.
• Analysing sales performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Handling customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Representing the Fred Perry brand and its values.
