Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to join our in-store team. You’ll greet customers, listen to their needs and help them find eyewear or services that suit them, from frames to eye-tests and aftercare.

Based on the shop floor, you’ll build relationships, support with dispensing, eye-tests pre-screening and administrative tasks, and take part in our Step Into Optics training to develop your knowledge and career with Boots.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintaining shop floor standards
