Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Newcastle is seeking a Nights Retail Assistant on a temporary contract to work 16 hours per week. The role involves stocking, resetting the sales floor, pricing changes, and ensuring stock is well presented.

Shifts run between 20:00-00:00 on weekdays to Sunday 18:00-22:00; candidates must be 18+. You will join a team that values customers, offers a pension, employee discounts, wellbeing support and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Reset the salesfloor with eye-catching displays and replenish stock.
• Ensure stock is correctly priced and price changes are visible to customers.
• Handle all stock, transfers, deliveries and remove items not meeting standards.
• Make changes to the salesfloor layout as required by the store.
• Keep the stockroom tidy and well-organised.

What you’ll do

As a Nights Retail Assistant, you’ll be working hard at night to provide our customers with an amazing experience as soon as they step through the front door the next morning. Here’s what this looks like in action:

• Resetting the salesfloor, including creating eye‑catching displays and replenishing the stock on the shelves.
• Making sure the stock is correctly priced and that any price changes are clear and visible to customers.
• Handling all stock, stock transfers, deliveries, and removing items from the salesfloor that don’t meet our high standards.
• Implement any changes to the salesfloor, such as layout.
• Keeping a tidy and well‑organised stockroom.
