Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Newcastle is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract until 9 January 2027. This part-time role offers 8 hours per week with varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and weekend evenings.

You will deliver an amazing in-store experience, assist customers with sizes and styles, keep shelves full and tidy, and process till transactions and returns. An interest in fashion and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly till service, including processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receive, unpack deliveries and price items to high standards for the sales floor.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
