Superdrug Stores Plc is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Designate to support store managers across our local network. You’ll work with teams to recruit, inspire and motivate staff, drive sales through promotions and stock control, and create a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

The role involves travel across stores, a full UK driving licence and the potential to move into a permanent store while developing your career.

Lead with Confidence, Grow Your Career - Become an Assistant Store Manager Designate, As an Assistant Store Manager Designate, you'll travel between different stores in your area, supporting where you're needed most. It's a great way to meet new teams, build your skills, and enjoy plenty of variety in your day. You won't be on the move forever though-this role is designed to help you grow, with the goal of moving into a permanent store and developing your career. Day to day you'll work alongside the store manager to:

• Recruit, inspire & motivate a passionate team to exceed targets.
• Drive sales through promotions, excellent merchandising, and stock control.
• Create a fun, engaging environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Ensure operational excellence, including audits, budgets, and stock management. If successful, you will receive a job offer with details about the role, salary, training store, and benefits. We'll guide you through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth start into your new role. Bringing fresh ideas from your previous experience in retail management, ideally 1+ years
• Passion for customer service & sales.
• Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers - with full training provided (Optional)
• This role involves travel across stores in the area; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred. • Hours per Week: 39 hours
  Shift pattern: Full-time - flexible shift patterns across mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends, will be discussed further at interview. Salary: Up to £31,600 per annum
