Superdrug Stores Plc is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Designate to support multiple stores in the local area. You will work alongside the store manager to lead teams, drive sales and ensure store standards across promotions, merchandising, and stock control.

The role involves travel between stores, with a driving licence preferred. It offers full-time hours (39 per week), a competitive salary, and opportunities for training and career progression within Superdrug.

Lead with Confidence, Grow Your Career - Become an Assistant Store Manager Designate, As an Assistant Store Manager Designate, you'll travel between different stores in your area, supporting where you're needed most. It's a great way to meet new teams, build your skills, and enjoy plenty of variety in your day. You won't be on the move forever though-this role is designed to help you grow, with the goal of moving into a permanent store and developing your career. Day to day you'll work alongside the store manager to:

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, inspire & motivate a passionate team to exceed targets.
• Drive sales through promotions, excellent merchandising, and stock control.
• Create a fun, engaging environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Ensure operational excellence, including audits, budgets, and stock management., If successful, you will receive a job offer with details about the role, salary, training store, and benefits. We'll guide you through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth start into your new role.

• A results-driven mindset with a love for hitting targets.
• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers - with full training provided (Optional)
• This role involves travel across stores in the area; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
• Designate Role - willing to travel within 1 hour of your base store until assigned a permanent location.

Working Conditions

• Hours per Week: 39 hours
• Shift pattern: Full-time - flexible shift patterns across mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends, will be discussed further at interview.
• Salary: £33,450.00 - £35,000.00 per annum
