Job summary

Cancer Research UK in Marlborough is seeking a motivated Assistant Shop Manager to support the Shop Manager and lead a small team of staff and volunteers. The role focuses on customer service, stock display, merchandising and achieving fundraising targets.

You will work 29 hours per week on a permanent contract, with a rota that covers shop hours. The internal title is Assistant Shop Manager and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of delivering great customer service.
• Experience in lively retail environments.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work on a rota and adapt to store needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the shop manager to guide and engage staff and volunteers.
• Oversee display, merchandising, stock management and shop standards.
• Help achieve targets for donated stock, cash, Gift Aid and stock processing.
• Maintain health and safety, safeguarding and administration policies.
