Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is seeking an Assistant Resuscitation Practitioner to deliver resuscitation training across the hospital and contribute to patient safety. This teaching role supports staff at multiple levels and may involve project work within the Resuscitation Service.

You will be a registered nurse, ODP or paramedic with acute care experience and be willing to work toward Resuscitation Council (UK) ALS Instructor status, ensuring up-to-date resuscitation

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (degree or diploma) with recent acute care experience.
• ODP or paramedic acceptable.
• Willing to work toward Resuscitation Council (UK) ALS Instructor status.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver resuscitation training to hospital staff at multiple levels.
• Undertake defined projects related to resuscitation services.
• Attend cardiac arrests to provide clinical input and feedback.
• Contribute to patient safety and staff knowledge development.
