Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee invites applications for an Assistant Resuscitation Practitioner to join the Resuscitation Service. You will deliver resuscitation training across the hospital to clinical and non-clinical staff, supporting patient safety and staff preparedness during cardiac events.

You should be a registered nurse (degree or diploma), ODP or paramedic with recent experience in acute adult settings such as ICU, CCU, ED or anaesthetics, and you should be willing to work towards ALS Instructor

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (degree or diploma) with recent, progressive experience in acute adult settings (e.g., ICU, CCU, ED, anaesthetics).
• Willingness to work towards Resuscitation Council (UK) ALS Instructor status.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver resuscitation training at a variety of levels to hospital clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Attend cardiac arrests to provide clinical input and feedback during events.
• Undertake defined projects related to the resuscitation service.
• Collaborate with the broader clinical team to support patient safety and staff development.
