North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Resuscitation Training Officer (Band 6) at University Hospital of North Tees. The post is full time and covers 37.5 hours per week across sites in Stockton-on-Tees.

The role involves leading life support training, responding to resuscitation calls, and maintaining resuscitation equipment and databases. The successful candidate will work across sites, deliver high-quality courses, and contribute to simulation training.

Formación

• Experience planning, delivering and evaluating teaching programmes.
• Ability to audit learning outcomes and maintain quality standards.
• Flexibility to work across sites and variable hours.
• Experience teaching life support skills such as first aid and BLS.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organise and deliver basic and advanced life support training.
• Respond to adult cardiac arrest and paediatric emergency calls when required.
• Coordinate resuscitation equipment maintenance across the Trust.
• Act as a professional resource for hospital staff and simulation training.
• Maintain accurate resuscitation database and enable audit.
• Drive high standards in training delivery and reflect on identified issues.
