North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Resuscitation Training Officer to plan, organise and deliver life support training across sites within the trust. You will respond to adult cardiac arrests and paediatric emergencies as part of the team, acting as an expert resource and facilitator for simulation.

You will maintain resuscitation equipment, ensure high standards of training delivery, and contribute to audit processes and reflective practice.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Resuscitation Training Officer available within the trust and also the new Health and Social Care Academy.
The successful candidate will work across sites.
The Resuscitation Officer (RO) will be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery of both basic and advanced life support training throughout the trust. He/she will be expected to respond to adult cardiac arrest calls, paediatric emergency calls, acting as an expert member of the team and facilitating experiential learning and team debrief.
To co-ordinate the use with the maintenance of all resuscitation equipment within the Trust.
To act as a professional resource for all members of the hospital team.
To act as key resource for simulation training
To maintain high standards of delivery of resuscitation training through audit and to have the ability to act upon any issues identified.
To ensure an accurate resuscitation database is maintained.
