A healthcare organization in Doncaster is seeking a Resuscitation Facilitator to deliver high-quality training in Resuscitation and Clinical Skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Resuscitation Facilitator (Band 5) to join our Learning and Development Team within the People and Organisational Development Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality training across Resuscitation, Clinical Skills, First Aid. You will support the delivery of Immediate Life Support (ILS), Community Life Support (CLS), and other clinical training programmes, while also contributing to the wider Learning and Development portfolio. Working collaboratively with Training Leads, Instructors, Service Users, and Subject Matter Experts, you will help shape and deliver engaging training that supports staff development and ultimately improves patient care.
You will deliver and support training in Resuscitation, Clinical Skills, and First Aid across the Trust, working towards becoming an accredited RC(UK) ILS Instructor and First Aid Instructor within your first year. In addition, you will help develop and evaluate training to meet Trust standards and national requirements, deputise for the Lead Facilitator in meetings as required, and contribute to policies, procedures, and audits.
You will supervise and support delegates and colleagues, creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages participation. You'll keep up to date with innovations in training delivery, using a wide range of learning technologies to enhance the learner experience. We seek someone passionate about education, training, and improving patient outcomes, with strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to organise a busy schedule. Commitment to professional development and maintaining registration is essential, as is working independently and collaboratively. If you don't hold a teaching qualification, you'll begin one within six months. We support staff to grow and thrive, offering nationally recognised accreditation in Resuscitation and First Aid, while working across a variety of services to develop a broad & valuable skillset. You will be part a supportive, innovative team dedicated to improving care quality across the Trust.
