Job summary

FRP Advisory Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a diligent analyst to join our Financial Advisory team. You will review financial information from diverse sources, develop KPIs, and contribute to advisory reports under guidance from managers and insolvency practitioners.

You will liaise with clients, creditors, and stakeholders; assist in meetings, ensure confidentiality, and support in structuring and drafting client communications while using Excel and FRP systems.

Qualifications

• Chartered accountant, or meaningful progress towards accountancy or other relevant qualification.
• Robust financial analysis and report writing capabilities.
• Higher English and Mathematics ‘B (6)’ grade or above (or equivalent).
• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Diligent with keen attention to detail and a professional approach to work.
• Adaptable and flexible approach with a genuine willingness to learn.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Review of financial information from a variety of sources and ability to understand and present key performance indicators
• Cash flow analysis and basic modelling, including sensitivity and variance analysis
• Initial structuring and drafting of advisory reports, including identification of key messages
• Liaise with managers, insolvency practitioners, clients, creditors, employees, asset funders, and other stakeholders where appropriate
• Attend, and contribute in, meetings with client management and key stakeholders
• Draft routine case correspondence and prepare statutory documents where required on insolvency cases
• Ensure cases are fully compliant and reviewed appropriately
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times
• Effectively use IT packages including Microsoft Office and FRP in-house systems
