About the role
We are looking for a Shift Manager to work across our Restaurants & Quick Service Restaurant department here at Bognor Regis.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining high operational standards and guest experience.
You will support and coach the team to ensure they deliver a great experience and will also drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions.
This is an operational, guest-facing role, and therefore all non-guest-facing tasks will be allocated as time within your working week, allowing you to spend most of your time within your venue and with our guests.
This role covers a 40-hour, 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is essential. Shifts vary between 6 am - 3 am.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same. You will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting involved, and ensuring that our guest experience remains your top priority.
About You
We seek an experienced leader from a volume-led or branded fast-food environment or similar, capable of supporting the team to deliver excellent service. You should prioritize the guest experience in all you do and have experience training and coaching teams in a fun-filled environment to deliver excellent service.
Previous experience leading in a fast-food or volume-led restaurant where speed and quality are crucial is required. You should be confident in directing and responding to any situation while maintaining consistent brand standards.
The ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even during peak times, and to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change, is vital.
With strong leadership skills, you should be able to inspire your team to achieve outstanding results for our guests and colleagues every day.
