Job summary

Upham Inn in Winchester is seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Members to join a high-volume, guest‑facing operation. You will welcome guests, take orders, handle payments and contribute to a warm, efficient service.

We hire for potential with training on every aspect of the operation and offer development pathways, opportunities to learn barista and cocktail skills, and a chance to progress toward management roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Great communication skills
• Good decision-making abilities

• Be organised with attention to detail and knowledge of food, wine and beer

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in the pub
• Take food and drink orders and handle cash or card payments
• Serve hot and cold beverages including alcohol
• Keep the restaurant clean and tidy
• Assist with managerial requests
• Look after guests throughout their experience
• Balance high volume with high quality service
• Participate in ongoing training and development
