Job summary

Harper's Steakhouse Haslemere is seeking Food & Beverage Team Members to join our hospitality team. If you have high energy and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced pub environment, we want to hear from you.

Ideal candidates may have prior restaurant/bar experience, but we hire for potential and offer comprehensive training and progression, with opportunities to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old due to licensing laws.
• Great communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities and confidence.
• Be well organised and reliable.
• General knowledge of food, wine and beer.
• Have the Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests in the pub.
• Taking food and drink orders and handling cash/card payments.
• Serving hot and cold beverages including alcohol.
• Ensuring cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Assisting with managerial requests and guest care.
• Looking after guests throughout their experience.
• Balancing high volume with high quality.
• Participating in ongoing training and development.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and opportunities.
