Job summary

Upham Inn is seeking Food & Beverage Team Members to join a high-volume, team-oriented environment. If you bring high energy and motivation to learn and grow, we want to hear from you. Potentially prior restaurant/bar experience is welcome, but Upham Inns hires on potential.

Training across operations, opportunities to progress in responsibility and pay, and certifications are offered. Join a team where you can enjoy serving guests, developing craft skills, and building a rewarding hospitality

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old due to licensing laws.
• You’ll be a great communicator.
• You’ll have great decision-making skills.
• You should be confident.
• You’ll need to be organised.
• General knowledge of food, wine and beer.
• Have the Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests in the pub.
• Taking food & drink orders and handling cash/card payments.
• Serving hot & cold beverages including alcohol.
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Assisting with managerial requests.
• Looking after and caring for our guests throughout their whole experience.
• Balancing high volume with high quality.
• Participating in ongoing training and development.
• Must have an eagerness to take advantage of new opportunities.
• Learning different skills.
