Job summary

Lavender Lodge Restaurant at Whitehall Garden Centre in Lacock is seeking a friendly, experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead the team and ensure outstanding service in a busy, welcoming setting.

You will supervise front-of-house operations, greet guests, handle queries, coach staff, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety while supporting the Catering Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or senior hospitality role.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant team on a day-to-day basis.

Whitehall Garden Centre is a family-run and award-winning business, and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our inspirational team as a Restaurant Supervisor at our beautiful Lavender Lodge Restaurant at our Lacock Garden Centre.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who is passionate about excellent customer service, hospitality and leading a team. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, while creating a warm, friendly and welcoming experience for every customer.

The ideal candidate will be confident, organised and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to motivate and support colleagues to maintain our high standards.

Part Time

Working every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Restaurant Supervisor Duties

Supervising and supporting the restaurant team on a day-to-day basisEnsuring all customers are greeted warmly and offered assistanceProviding an excellent standard of customer service at all timesHandling customer queries and resolving any issues courteously and efficientlySupporting the Catering Operations Manager with the smooth running of the restaurantEnsuring the restaurant is clean, tidy, welcoming and presented to a high standardEnsuring tables are cleared promptly and efficientlyOverseeing the preparation and service of food and drinks to the required company standardsEnsuring food is stored, handled and served in accordance with company standards and proceduresOperating the till and ensuring all transactions are handled accurately and courteouslyAssisting with opening and closing proceduresSupporting staff with their daily duties and helping to maintain high levels of teamwork and efficiencyLeading by example and motivating the team during busy periodsMonitoring service standards and addressing any issues promptlyAssisting with training and supporting new members of the restaurant teamEnsuring company health, safety, hygiene and customer service standards are maintainedCarrying out any other reasonable duties required to support the successful running of the restaurantThe Ideal Candidate
