Job description

Full-Time Dental Receptionist Location: Chelsea House Dental, Central London
Salary: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour, based on experience
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

About the Role: We are looking for a highly organised and personable Dental Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. You will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic's front desk.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Interaction:

  • Greet patients warmly, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Assist with patient inquiries, check-ins, and appointment bookings.
  • Provide information on clinic services, procedures, and payment options.

Appointment Scheduling:

  • Manage and optimise the appointment schedule efficiently.
  • Coordinate with dentists and specialists to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Confirm and remind patients of upcoming appointments.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining patient records.

Office Organization:

  • Maintain a clean and well-organised reception area.
  • Manage office supplies and liaise with vendors as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (dental practice experience is required).
  • Knowledge of dental clinic procedures, including handling patient forms, payments, and treatment coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – friendly, professional, and approachable.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in dental software and office management systems (preferred).
