Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering outstanding results.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Creates a caring, positive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role-modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensures an excellent guest experience, with dishes prepared to high standards, supporting your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Maintains food, health, and safety standards, understands financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively spots opportunities.
  • Builds a coaching culture within the team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Is a forward-thinking problem solver, able to make quick decisions and think on your feet.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have considerate, supportive conversations.
  • Experience maintaining high standards in food, health, and safety.
