Job summary

Dakota Hotels in Motherwell is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead service and train the team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will manage rota creation, bookings and service flow while promoting wine and guest satisfaction.

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will work with Bar and Kitchen to ensure seamless Dakota experiences and drive revenue through standard setting and staff development.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or above in a full-service restaurant.
• Proven ability to write rotas and deliver on-the-job training.
• Experience in daily people management and wine list development.
• WSET level 2 or above is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Run services across breakfast, lunch and dinner with hands-on service and hosting.
• Drive restaurant trade by managing rota, bookings and service sequence while promoting sales.
• Collaborate with Bar and Kitchen to ensure seamless Dakota Experience for guests.
• Support HR through interviewing, training, appraisals and one-to-one meetings.
