Job summary

Dakota Hospitality Limited (Dakota Hotels) is seeking a Restaurant Manager at Dakota Eurocentral, Motherwell. You will lead service levels, train the team and ensure an exceptional guest experience across all meal periods.

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will own duties from wine list development to payroll, rota creation and cross‑department coordination to optimise guest satisfaction and restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or above in a full‑service restaurant with rook planning and staff management.
• Experience writing rotas and delivering staff training.
• Demonstrable experience in daily people management and high‑standard guest service.

Responsibilities

• Run restaurant services across breakfast, lunch and dinner with hands‑on hosting and high service standards.
• Write the wine list and work with the Head Chef to capture guest feedback and manage payroll/rota and bookings; drive sales through service.
• Coordinate with Bar, Kitchen and Reception to ensure smooth service and maximise resident to diner conversion and the Dakota Experience.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, training plans, appraisals and ongoing coaching to deliver polished guest service.
