Job summary

Cambridge House, Mayfair, is launching Major’s, a glamorous signature restaurant inspired by ritzy mid-century dining. As Restaurant Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to drive daily operations and an exceptional guest journey.

You will champion warm, intuitive service, seamless kitchen-floor collaboration and a distinctive Major’s experience from first arrival to farewell, inspiring guests to return.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead pre-openings and establish operating procedures and training plans.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Understanding of hospitality operations, financials, stock management, and daily administration.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varied hours in a Mayfair property.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the opening and ongoing operation of Major’s with the General Manager, translating the vision into a distinctive identity and standards.
• Own the guest experience from arrival to farewell, setting the pace of service and ensuring a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with Culinary to align menus, service styles and guest expectations.
• Build relationships across Cambridge House with Food & Beverage, Reservations and Front-of-House teams.
• Lead onboarding, training and coaching to strengthen team confidence and connection to the vision.
• Foster a culture of shared responsibility and open communication among staff.
• Engage with guests to build relationships and manage feedback and service recovery.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, food safety, licensing and health & safety.
