Job summary

TAQ Ltd. in London is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team with a hands-on approach. You will conduct daily briefings, train service standards, and drive sales while maintaining high guest satisfaction.

The role is full-time (45 hours/week), with Fri–Sun work, 28 days holiday, and strong growth opportunities within a dynamic, young company. Staff discounts and wine access are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager.
• Natural leader with a confident, lead-by-example approach.
• Skilled in team development and motivation.
• Proven ability to meet targets and uphold high standards.
• Passionate about food and wine.
• Solid wine knowledge preferred (WSET Level 2, but not essential).
• Eager to grow professionally within an ambitious and creative company.

Responsibilities

• 80% of time on the floor during service, leading the front-of-house team and delivering guest experiences.
• Run daily briefings and lead training on service standards to drive sales and morale.
• Work on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as part of the schedule.
• Remaining 20% of time on administrative responsibilities and team meetings, with one admin day per week.
