Job summary

Searcys is hiring a Restaurant Manager to lead the Pegasus Bar and Restaurant at Inner Temple, London. You will manage service delivery, ensure SOP adherence, and direct front- and back-of-house teams Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a management role within a members' facility (desirable).
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate required or desirable.
• Personal Licence (desirable).
• Experience using EPOS systems for ordering and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the bar and restaurant team with a hands-on approach.
• Monitor SOPs and opening/closing procedures.
• Provide daily revenue forecast vs actual reporting.
• Coordinate stock with the Cellar Manager to ensure rotation and stock levels.
• Assist with stock audits and compliance with government guidelines.
• Induction/support new team members and maintain high service standards.

Searcys are looking for aRestaurant Manager to join the team at the Inner Temple.

As theRestaurant Manager, you will ensure the effective management and efficient service and operations forPegasus Bar and Restuarant from Monday to Friday.

The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. That teamed with its surroundings of a three-acres a stunning garden, it offers a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events

Contract – 42.5 hours

Hours: Monday to Friday only

Key Responsibilities:

• To confidently lead and manage the team with a hands-on approach in the absence of the Bar and Restaurant Manager
• To consistently monitor the practice of all SOPs and requirements across the Bar and Restaurant, including opening and closing schedules
• Daily reporting and monitoring of revenue forecast versus actual sales
• To liaise with Cellar Manager to ensure drinks stocks are always maintained and rotated
• To assist with the coordination of internal and external stock audits
• Ensuring all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to
• Assisting with the induction of new team members
• Minimum of 1 year in a Managementrole, working in a members' facility (desirable)
• Personal Licence (desirable)
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
• Experience using at least one EPOS system for ordering and reconciliation
• Strong leadership skills
• Takes initiative and demonstrates high level of organisation
• Supportive team player
