Job summary

Searcys HAC London is seeking a Bar Team Leader for a part-time role consisting of 20 hours per week. You will support the Operations Team to deliver seamless service across events, private dining, restaurant, bar and lounge settings within a historic city venue.

You will run bar stations, lead the team, ensure compliance with standards and safety policies, and develop junior bartenders while delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service during events, private dining dinners as well as restaurant, bar and lounge services.
• Run stations during the bar service and oversee the team to ensure standards are followed and adhered to.
• Provide exceptional service to guests and ensure guest requests are handled courteously.
• Participate in the setup of all events and assist with stocktaking of beverages, glassware and bar equipment.
• Nurture and develop bartenders and liaise with managers to maintain menu standards.
• Adhere to Food Safety, Health and Safety, COSHH and other policy requirements.

Searcys are looking for a Bar Team Leader to assist the Operations Team to deliver seamless service to all areas of the venue.

Job Type: 20 Hours per week

Salary: £16.50 per hour

Main Purpose:

You will oversee service during events, private dining dinners as well as restaurant, bar and lounge services. You will be required to run stations during the bar service and oversee the team to ensure all standards are followed and adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to our guests
• To successfully participate in the delivery of all food and beverage services
• Take part in the setup of all events
• Nurture and develop new bartenders
• Stocktaking of beverage, glassware and bar equipment
• Stock rotation management
• Adhere to all company policies and departmental procedures/trainings
• Liaise with key people in all necessary areas of the business to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards set by the managers
• Deal effectively and courteously with guest requests, and to refer them to the line manager, if necessary
• To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility including all other requirements as described in the Searcys Health & Safety Policy
