Search Consultancy LTD is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to take overall responsibility for service and prep at a high-profile Edinburgh venue, delivering leadership, accountability and clear operational direction.

The successful candidate will join a team focused on exceptional guest experiences and strong customer service skills at all times, with a hands-on, on-site leadership style.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior hospitality or restaurant management.
• Strong commercial acumen with full departmental P&L responsibility.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Desirable: understanding of costing and operational logistics.
• Personal Licences Holder.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all restaurant operations across food and beverage, events and health and safety practices.
• Ensuring the venue is consistently presented to the highest standards for all services and events.
• Leading, inspiring and developing a high-performing on-site team, setting clear standards and expectations.
• Managing recruitment, training and succession planning to build capability and resilience across the team.
• Promoting employee engagement and well-being through inclusive, visible leadership and regular recognition.
• Acting as the main point of contact for venue stakeholders, clients and suppliers, building strong working relationships.

As Restaurant Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for restaurant service and prep, ensuring both service excellence and strong customer service skills are evident at all times. The role exists to provide clear leadership on the floor, team accountability and operational direction across the restaurant. You'll bring together commercial focus and creative hospitality to deliver experiences that reflect such a high-profile destination.

The successful Restaurant Managers £45k+ package includes £34-36k salary plus tronc dividends & multiple non-monetary benefits.
