Job summary

The Other House LLC. is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead day-to-day service, guest experience, and team performance. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Directors to protect the restaurant’s standards and financial results.

You will own the FOH P&L, manage bookings and private dining, build the drinks offer with our wine supplier, and ensure licensing, food safety, allergen procedures, and staff records are compliant. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role.

Job description

You will lead front of house day to day and take responsibility for guest experience, team performance and the restaurant's financial results. You will work closely with the Head Chef and the Directors.

• Deliver consistently excellent, relaxed-but-precise service that protects our AA Rosette standard
• Recruit, train, schedule and motivate a front-of-house team of [number], including regular briefings and coaching
• Own the P&L for front of house: sales against budget, gross profit, labour cost and wastage, reporting weekly to the Directors
• Manage bookings, covers and private dining, and grow repeat and occasion business
• Build the drinks offer with our wine supplier: list updates, staff wine training and margin control
• Handle guest feedback and online reviews (Google, Tripadvisor, OpenTable) promptly and professionally
• Keep the premises legally compliant: licensing, food safety and allergen procedures, health and safety, and staff records
• Run rotas, holidays and payroll inputs, and keep the reservation and till systems in good order
