ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Host to join the Daylesford Farm Shop team. This is a highly guest facing role, combining warm welcomes with practical support across the shop and restaurant areas.

You will act as a central point of contact for customers, helping manage footfall during busy periods, supporting bookings or waitlists where applicable, and working closely with retail and restaurant teams to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer journey.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a lively environment, takes pride in delivering thoughtful service, and shares an interest in food, farming and sustainable living.

Until Spring Season, our Daylesford restaurant operates for Breakfast and Lunch service, with evening work only applicable for private events.

SKILLS & EXPTERISE

• Previous experience in hospitality, retail or customer-facing roles preferred

• Confident, friendly communication style with a natural ability to put people at ease

*The on target earning potential for this role is £34,414.32 per annum based on a 40-hour contract - comprising a base salary of £26,914.32, plus a qualified estimate of £7,500 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is paid hourly at £12.89 per hour, so this is a projected salary and OTE.
