Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of our Braintree site. You'll lead a fast-paced team, drive sales, manage costs, and ensure top food quality and guest experience in a branded, high-volume environment.

Youll be accountable for P&L, recruitment, development plans, stock control, and scheduling, with a 30-day holiday package, private healthcare, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Proven GM experience in branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Strong people leadership and talent development.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling and stock management.
• Experience with inventory systems and processes.
• Experience with new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance including P&L, sales, labour, and costs.
• Develop and motivate your team to grow their careers.
• Deliver Popeyes’ food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Bring energy and maintain a positive culture in the team.
